Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms apply when you book or receive a service from Bay Area Auto Detailers ("we," "us," "our"), a fully mobile car-detailing business owned and operated by Tyler Lindblad, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. By booking an appointment with us — online, by phone, or by text — you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide mobile auto detailing at a location you choose within the Bay Area, such as your home, workplace, or a parking area. We bring our own equipment and professional-grade products. Service times shown on our site are estimates; the actual time depends on the size and condition of the vehicle.
Booking & appointments
Appointments can be booked online or by calling or texting us. When you book, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your vehicle, and where it will be located. We'll confirm the appointment, and we may reach out if we need more detail before arriving.
Please make sure the vehicle is legally and safely accessible at the agreed time and place. If we arrive and cannot safely reach or work on the vehicle, we may need to reschedule.
Pricing & payment
Prices listed on our website apply to standard-size vehicles in typical condition. Larger vehicles, or vehicles that are heavily soiled or need extra work, may cost more — we will always confirm any change in price with you before we start.
No deposit is required to book. Payment is due in full when the service is completed, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Because we're mobile and reserve travel time and a full time slot for each job, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We don't take deposits or charge cancellation fees — but repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect our ability to book you in the future. To cancel or reschedule, use the link in your confirmation, or call or text us.
Your vehicle & belongings
Please remove personal items, valuables, and any loose belongings from the vehicle before your appointment. We are not responsible for money, electronics, or other personal property left in the vehicle.
Let us know in advance about anything we should be aware of — water leaks, existing damage, sensitive finishes, aftermarket coatings, or areas to avoid.
Results & what to expect
Detailing dramatically improves a vehicle's appearance, but some conditions cannot be fully reversed. We cannot guarantee removal of every stain, odor, scratch, water spot, or instance of oxidation or pre-existing damage. If you're not happy with a specific area, tell us before we leave and we'll do our best to make it right.
Weather
As a mobile service, we often work outdoors. Severe weather may require us to reschedule for safety and quality. If that happens, we'll contact you to find a new time.
Photos & marketing
We may photograph vehicles we service and use those images to promote our work, including on our website and social media. We won't intentionally feature license plates or personal information. If you'd prefer we not photograph or post your vehicle, just let us know before or during the appointment and we'll honor that.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for issues arising from defects or conditions that were not disclosed to us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the "last updated" date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
